Increased Performance. This Mantic 9000 Series Clutch kit uses a unique sprung center with cushioned ceremetallic twin discs. This means more torque capacity and heat resistance while retaining excellent drivability. This Mantic twin clutch employs 9-inch diameter discs that greatly reduces the Moment of Inertia (MOI) for a seamless transition of power between gears. The lower MOI is a huge difference over the typical 10 or 11-inch clutch kits. With approximately 12-15% increase in pedal feel, compared to stock, a Mantic Clutch 9000 Series Twin Disc Clutch is ideal for use with power adder upgrades and can be driven on the street or track. This Mantic Clutch 9000 Series Twin Disc Ceremetallic Clutch Kit can handle up to 1010 foot-pounds of torque at the crank or 820-850 foot-pounds at the rear wheels.

Completely Rebuildable. This Mantic 9000 Series Clutch features a modular construction for ease of service and is completely rebuildable. The clutch cover and its components are machined from billet stock adding to its strength and durability. With 100% billet construction, this clutch will not flex under heavy usage like other stamped steel units.

Lightweight Matched Flywheel. Manufactured from lightened steel, the included flywheel is specifically engineered to reduce inertia which allows quicker revs when compared to the heavier stock OE units.

Complete Kit Includes. This Mantic 9000 Series Clutch comes as a complete, direct fit upgrade kit and includes everything needed for installation. Kit includes Twin Disc Clutch, Lightened Steel Flywheel, new OE Hydraulic Release Bearing, new Flywheel Bolts and Clutch Bolts as well as all the necessary hardware.

SFI Approved 1.1. If you’re using this Clutch in high performance or racing applications, SFI Certification is critical so you can run your Pony at the track or strip. And it’s great for peace of mind even in a daily driver.

Application. This Mantic Clutch 9000 Series Twin Disc Ceremetallic Clutch Kit with 8-Bolt Steel Flywheel; 10 Spline is designed to fit 1996-2010 GT, Cobra, and Mach 1 Mustang models equipped with a T-45, TR-3650, or T-56 transmission with a 10 spline input shaft and an 8-bolt main.

Please Note. Romeo built engines have 6 bolt cranks and Windsor built engines have 8 bolt cranks. If the 8th character in the VIN is an “X” its a Windsor block, if the 8th character in the VIN is a “W” it is a Romeo block. There is an exception to that rule as the 2001 Bullitt Edition Mustang feature a Romeo built engine. If unsure please check with your Ford dealer to determine if you have a 6 or an 8 bolt main.
